St Andrews Day Celebrations

Queens View Harbour Care Home

On the 30th of November, our residents and staff members at Queens View Harbour Care Home celebrated St Andrews Day in style by inviting in popular music group ‘True Colours’ to perform to the residents as they sang and danced the afternoon away.

At Queens View Harbour Care Home we make sure to regularly host new activities and put on entertainment for our residents so they can socialise and develop new relationships with one another. We also recognise the importance that introducing new people, new faces, different ideas and experiences has on our residents, which is why when we can, we make sure to invite visitors into our home that will bring our residents a sense of joy and happiness.

We are always seeking new ways to improve our resident's lifestyle, whether it is incorporating new activities within their daily routine or encouraging them to make use of the wide range of facilities and amenities that Queens View Harbour Care Home has to offer, such as our cinema room, hairstylist, or wonderful gardens, we can be sure that there is something for everyone and no two days are the same.

We have seen the first-hand benefits that developing community links and introducing new faces into our care home has on our residents, which is why our dedicated activities coordinators assure to go above and beyond to make sure that our residents' lives are as exciting and interesting as possible.

Developing new community links and relationships with our residents provides improved social stimulation, helps residents to maintain existing interests, and better visibility on the local community and the area of Troon
