Spooky Goings on at Queens View Harbour

Halloween at Queens View Harbour

The staff and residents of Queens View Harbour Care Home have been very busy this October, but the fun continues. The residents and their loved ones celebrated Halloween by hosting their very own Halloween party.

The residents and staff at Queens View Harbour were gifted with a special visit from the musical entertainers, the ‘Music Box’ with live entertainment and sweet treats. Everyone joined in feet tapping, dancing and singing away the afternoon in celebration of the Halloween festivities. The staff, relatives and residents took great enjoyment in participating in fancy dress, dressed as witches, skeletons and many more scary characters to get into the spirit.

Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, we were unable to accommodate children at the Halloween party, but they all received a lovely goodie bag of sweets and treats from their loved ones.

At Queens View Harbour Care Home we recognise the importance of encouraging our residents to participate in the wide range of activities and facilities we have to offer. Whether it is joining in on our arts and crafts programme, or taking advantage of our cinema room, we have seen the first-hand benefits of how this helps to build new relationships within our care home.

No two days are the same at Queens View Harbour, we regularly offer our residents social events such as weekly quizzes, garden games, and entertainment performers within our home, we feel passionate about making sure that there is always something for everyone to enjoy and look forward to.

If you would like to find out more about the care options we have to offer or the wide range of facilities that we provide our residents with at Queens View Harbour Care Home then please feel free to contact us and a friendly member of our team and we will be happy to help.
