Queens View Harbour’s Annual Summer Fete

Residents' Loved Ones Gathered in The Bar Area

On Saturday 12th August we held our Annual Summer Fete at Queens View Harbour Care Home in Troon.

We have been busy fundraising for residents funds, to help support an upcoming cabin break holiday in Wemyss Bay for our residents to enjoy. This annual event not only brings joy and excitement to the residents and staff but also serves as a bridge between the care home and the local community.

The summer fete was a big success, with craft stalls, home baking stalls, ice-cream staff, a raffle, tombola, places raffle, face painting, golf competitions, and an afternoon tea event which sold out quickly.  The feedback was amazing, the food on offer created by our talented chefs was truly scrumptious. The total amount raised was £708, which is a fantastic result.

Queens View Harbour has really become a local hub in Troon and most definitely a part of the local community which we are very proud of.  Our residents, relatives and families all supported the fete very generously by donating bottles and raffle prizes, thank you to everyone who contributed to help make it a successful day.

We are looking forward to our next afternoon tea, raising funds for the Ayrshire Hospital. Keep an eye out for confirmation of dates and arrangements.
