Meet Our Wellbeing Coordinators
Meet Queens View Harbour's Wellbeing Coordinators. Clea and Lorena work together to help promote the overall wellbeing for our residents. Their role involves making sure residents feel happy and comfortable in their surroundings at all times. This is achieved by getting to know residents to the best of their ability, whether that's by sitting with them and having a chat or encouraging residents to participate in our regular activities programme.
We know just how important social interaction is for older people, and Clea and Lorena love nothing more than learning about the live's residents have lived as well as their hobbies and interests.
Clea has a background in Art & Design and therefore really enjoys the creative aspect that certain activities provide to residents. Clea also likes to incorporate activities that stimulate the senses, such as tasting sessions, sensory boxes and aroma hand massages.
Lorena worked at a few care homes as a Activities Coordinator before coming back to her roots to work in her home town of Troon. Lorena enjoys bringing laughter and joy to the lives of our residents by keeping them engaged in activities such as exercises classes and arts & crafts, as well as organising big social events which is guaranteed to spark excitement with residents.
We want to thank both Clea and Lorena for their continued hard work and for putting a smile on our residents' faces each and every day.
If you would like to learn more about the activities we provide for our residents, do not hesitate to contact our team who will be thrilled to answer any questions you may have.
