Love is All Around at Queens View Harbour

Residents Enjoying a Valentines Meal

This year Valentine's Day was a fantastic day full of happiness, joy, and laughter from our residents, and it is safe to say that love was truly in the air.

The residents and their loved ones at Queens View Harbour Care Home enjoyed laughing and dancing the afternoon away as they celebrated Valentine's Day with live entertainment from Music Box. The dedicated team created a real love nest within the Cafe Bar of the home, with couples enjoying a relaxed 3-course indulgent evening meal with a fantastic nutritious menu, specially designed by our in house Head Chef Derek.

This year Valentine's Day was an overall success at Queens View Harbour Care Home of which the atmosphere was electric and the feedback from the residents and their friends and daily was exceptional.

At Queens View Harbour Care Home we understand how Valentine's Day can be a sensitive time of the year for our residents who have lost loved ones. But our specialist care team made sure to celebrate love in its broader sense of meaning and focus on those who have built relationships within the home with fellow residents and our care team.

Our activities coordinator go above and beyond ensuring all special occasions are celebrated and our residents always have something to look forward to with never anything to do. Whether we are celebrating Halloween, St Andrews Day or Burns Night there is always something going on at Queens View Harbour for our residents to participate in.

As well as celebrating the many special occasions we also provide our residents with our Extensive Facilities. Often our residents enjoy joining in on our Weekly Entertainment, taking a stroll in our Wonderful Gardens, staying active on our Putting Green, or even going back in time and watching a favourite film in our Cinema Room
