Celebrating our One-Year Anniversary

Last month marked our one-year anniversary, having opened up our doors last July 2021. What a year it has been! We are proud of the community that we have built and what we have achieved together.

We have had some fantastic times and some great events, from Yoga sessions and gardening clubs to celebrating seasonal holidays such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, and Easter.

To mark the occasion, we hosted a party in our garden and were joined by staff, residents, and relatives including grandchildren. We also welcomed a live band called 'True Colours' who performed some wonderful tunes whilst we all ate, drank, and took a trip down memory lane.

The children had their faces painted and played on the putting green, whilst there was also a raffle available for everyone to take part in.

We also want to give a special mention and thank you to Mr Lewis and Mr Dunn who both delivered beautiful speeches. You truly captured the journey we have been on as a home this past year and we really appreciated your kind words.

The sun shone brightly for us and we raised our champagne flutes and toasted to our fantastic first year, and the many more to come.

Once again, thank you to everyone including Clea, Lorena, Ellis, the staff team, the volunteers, the bakers, the face painters, the families, and residents. We wish a happy 1st anniversary to all those in the Queens View Harbour and Troon community and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for us!
